August Update

BACK TO SCHOOL!

We wrapped up a fast and furious summer last month. We talked about God’s Math and how it can apply to our worries about school and our relationships with friends. We talked about seeking and adding God first, subtracting negative thoughts, ending division and seeking unity, and how God could multiply our small acts of kindness. It was a great series for all of us! In addition, of course we enjoyed our last rounds of water balloons, played some crazy games, handed out backpacks to over 150 kids, and squeezed out the last bit of summer fun that we could!

Festus joined the kids at Cypress Creek for one last water balloon toss the day before school started back.
We partnered with Cathy’s Pointe to have a fun back-to-school party, complete with pizza and backpacks. What else do you need?
Blindfold fruit-juice pouch race at Green Tree Village. It was as messy as you’d think it would be.
We had a full room after the first day of school at Plum Creek, which we love to see!
Our Spring Terrace kids love to play Jump the River – every week!
We had a puzzle assembly race at Amarillo Garden. It was intense!
The kids at High Plains Ranch love to gather around McCay (and her baby boy) and tell her all about their day.
These super hero masks were a big hit at Ridgecrest.
The North Grand Villa kids love Jump the River almost as much as the Spring Terrace kids do.
