April Update

We’re finding that adding 2 new locations – which both have A LOT of kids – has added new challenges and new costs, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. In the midst of working on our Feed, Clothe, Love and Lift fundraiser, we had a whole lot of fun in April. We heard the Easter Story over the course of several weeks (and got Easter goodies, of course) and enjoyed some warm sunny days that allowed us to get out and run – even if the wind almost blew us over. Check out the pictures of the fun!

Lia comes up with some crazy games for the Cypress Creek kids. And they love them, obviously!
Quinn was one of our Mission 2540 kids many years ago. She’s in college and needed some volunteer hours, so she called us. We may not let her leave even after she gets all her hours in!
No group loves the calm of coloring pictures more than our Plum Creek kids.
We handed out close to 150 Easter goodie bags. These North Grand Villa girls were big fans.
We’re having so much fun getting to know the Amarillo Garden kiddos. Close to 20 show up each and every Wednesday.
The Cathy’s Pointe kids request a game of “Sharks and Minnows” each and every week. And we give in each and every week.
We have a rowdy bunch at High Plains Ranch, so it sure has been nice to be able to get them outside to run off energy!
This game of Pictionary at Ridgecrest got a little up close and personal. Not sure anyone minded though.
Sometimes the Spring Terrace boys just want to hold a good old fashioned race.
