We had some beautiful weather in October, which allowed us to get outside, play, and run off that after-school energy each day. We’ve continued looking at the life of David and all it teaches us about joy, sadness, forgiveness, fear, and so much else that applies to kids today.
We also had the chance to take a group of about 20 of our parents and kids to see “Sherlock Holmes and the First Baker Street Irregular” put on by the Amarillo Little Theatre Academy. It was a fun afternoon and a new experience for the kids. We may have been a little loud in the audience at time, but that’s because we were having so much fun (and had so many questions!)
Game time at Cypress Creek! We had a scribbling contest at Cathy’s Pointe – it’s game any age can do and enjoy. The kids love crafts at Spring Terrace – even when the wind makes it challenging. The Plum Creek girls really loved our chalk Jack-O-Lantern craft. Learning the Bible verse at Glenwood with Mrs. Lia. Sometimes games of Tug-of-War break out at Ridgecrest. Enjoying snack time and beautiful weather at the North Grand Villas. At least a few of our girls cooperated and posed for a picture after the show at ALT Academy.
