It has been quite the start of the year for us! We’re still not able to meet indoors on any of our properties. We’re hoping that changes within the next couple months. But since the apartments we work in are managed my groups outside of Amarillo, those decisions won’t be made based just on Amarillo’s declining case numbers. It’s frustrating, but we’re making due as best we can!
Meeting outside in January and February isn’t ideal. Thankfully, we had several weeks we were blessed with beautiful warm weather, and a few weeks with tolerable weather. Other days, the most we could do was hand out snacks from our vehicles. But regardless, we’ve been able to continue to reach our kids and provide them with food, activities, and encouragement. And that’s what it’s all about!
