We’ve settled in to our normal, familiar routine now that school is back in session. Since we’re still required to meet outside, we’ve had to get creative with some of our crafts and games, especially due to the fact that Amarillo is just about the windiest place in the country! But other than the wind, we’re enjoying this beautiful weather, meeting new friends, and having a blast with some huge crowds of kids each and every week!
Basketball games and sidewalk chalk art at Cathys Pointe Sharks and Minnows is a crowd favorite at the North Grand Villas. The Glenwood kids love craft time. So does Lia – because it keeps them calm! We played “Musical Mats” instead of “Musical Chairs” at Ridgecrest. It was a huge hit. With 2 new families at Spring Terrace, we had had to introduce them to Jump the River. Our Plum Creek crew always fun with whatever game we throw at them. Now that Aloni has moved off to college, Lia is in charge at Cypress Creek. It’s a wild bunch to wrangle, but she keeps their attention!
