After a 5 month break, our kids are all back to school! We’re thankful they’re able to get back to the structure, learning, friendships, and nutrition they have so desperately needed – in a safe manner. The kids have been happy to be back with their friends, and there has only been a little complaining about the mask wearing.
The week before school began, we handed out over 150 backpacks filled witih supplies. We also spent that week with as many water balloon fights as possible as we enjoyed the last bit of summer fun. Since school has been back and some structure has returned, we’ve had big crowds of kids show up, ready to have fun and learn about the love of Jesus. Things aren’t all the way normal yet, but that sure won’t stop us from doing what we do each and every week!
